3405. Roberta Kirkpatrick was born on 9 June 1912 in Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., California. She died on 11 February 1989 at the age of 76 in Atlanta, Fulton Co., Georgia.


Roberta Kirkpatrick was born 9 June 1912 in Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California. Roberta took up the violin early in her life. She attended graduate school at Julliard School of Music and became an accomplished violinist. She played in symphony orchestras in the cities where she lived, many times as the concert mistress.

Roberta married on 27 May 1933 in Long Beach, Robert Strong, son of Walter Wills and Genevieve Francisca Veronica (Kiply) Strong, who was born 14 June 1905 or 1906 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Robert received his B.S. degree from UCLA, an M.A. from the University of Southern California, a B.D. from Westminster Seminary, and an S.T.D. from Temple University. He was pastor of churches in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Alabama. Later he held a teaching positionin a seminary in east Mississippi. he retired to Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida, where he died 17 June 1980. Roberta died on 11 February 1989 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.

Roberta Kirkpatrick and Robert Strong were married on 27 May 1933 in Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., California. Robert Strong, son of Walter Wills Strong and Genevive Francisca Veronica Kiply, was born on 14 June 1905 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. He died on 7 June 1980 at the age of 74 in Pensacola, Escambia Co., Florida.
