Nannie Leona Wilkins was born 29 July 1874 at Nashville, Davidson Count y, Tennessee. She graduated in 1892 at Denton, Denton County, Texas. S he married Bascm Dewitt Simpson, son of thomas Lafayette Simpson and El izabeth Virginia Deets on 24 November 1895 at Lewisville, Waller County , Texas. She died on 22 June 1955 at Denton, Texas at the age of 80.
