He married Elvie Mae Hudson, daughter of Isaac Hudson, Sr. and A nne James Potts, on 17 March 1921 at the Presidio, San Francisco County , California. He died on 10 December 1979 at Travis AFB Hospital in Fa irfield, Solano County, California (later to be co-operated by the Depa rtment of Veterans Affairs [VA]), at the age of 81.
