Unknown newspaper obituary: Alfred P. Anderson was born March 16, 1884 i n Hickory County, Missouri, to Peter and Anna Anderson. He passed way i n Omaha, January 19th at the age of 73 years and 10 months. He was one o f nine children, six boys and three girls. He came to this community w hen he was only nine years old, coming with his parents all the way in a c overed wagon. This was in the year 1892. his occupation was farming. H e was united in marriage to Myrtle Racheal Kirkpatrick, November 2, 190 4. To this union two children were born, a son, Archie Anderson at hom e, and a daughter, Florence who is now Mrs. Don Schmeeckle of Cozad. H is wife preceded him in death in 1950. Three brothers and one sister h ave also preceded him in death. Members of his family who mourn his de ath are his son Archie and daughter Florence, two brothers Oscar and ha rry of Powell, Wyoming, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Bloom of Powell, Wyomi ng and Mrs. Mary Cline of Hemet, California; and four grandchildren. H e was baptized when a child and was a charter member of the Walnut Grov e Methodist Church. At the time of his death he was a member of the Me thodist Church in Cozad. He is remembered by his loved ones and friend s as being considerate and thoughtful of others. Funeral services were h eld at the Methodist Church in Cozad, on Wednesday, January 22, with Re verend Mye O. Bond officiating. Music was furnished by Joe Hiltne, Don M aline, Robert Atchison and Glendon Maline, accompanied by Mrs. Emil Bar ta at the organ. Pallbearers were M. U. Black, Floyd Groenewold, Willi am Lauer, Lester Adle, Recus Block and Howard Benjamin. Interment was i n the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Myrtle Rachel Kirkpatrick and Alfred Peter Anderson had the following children:
