FIFTH GENERATION

244. Susannah Caroline Kirkpatrick ⁽⁶⁾ was born in 1811 in Jackson Co., Georgia.⁽⁶⁾ She died in Arthur, Grant Co., Wisconsin. Susannah was born probably about 1811 in Georgia. She was married twic e. The first marriage was to Frederick Mundon which took place sometim e in the 1820's in Illinois. The second marriage was to Abraham (somet imes Abram) Sparks, and took place on 12 February 1847 in Grant County, T erritory of Wisconsin, Head of the Platte precinct.

Mundon supposedly died in an epidemic in 1843-44. This could be so bec ause he is shown as head of household in a territorial census for 1842. B y 1846 in another territorial census the head of household is given to C aroline Mundon.

We do not know their death dates but Caroline (who during her marriage t o Sparks used the name Susannah) and Abe Sparks are supposedly buried i n the McReynolds Cemetery, a family cemetery alongside the road, just s outh of Arthur, Wisconsin. The cemetery bears no evident markers for t he pair but does carry the graves of Abe's parents: Abel Sparks, died 2 7 December 1871, aged 94 years and Sarah, wife of Abel Sparks, died 12 A ugust 1853, aged 74 years.

She was married to Frederick Mundon about 1826 in Illinois. ⁽⁶⁾ Frederick Mundon ⁽⁶⁾ died between 1843 and 1844 in Wisconsin. ⁽⁶⁾ Susannah Caroline Kirkpatrick and Frederick Mundon had the following children:
