SEVENTH GENERATION

1945. Lucy Ellen Kirkpatrick ⁽⁵⁰⁴⁾ was born in 1844 in Illinois. ⁽⁵⁰⁴⁾ She died in May 1866 in Coatsburg, Adams Co., Illinois. Lucy Kirkpatrick was born circa 1845 in Illinois. She was only about f our years old when her father died. On 17 August 1865, soon after he h ad returned from the Civil War, Lucy married in Quincy, Adams County, I llinois to William Jasper White, son of John Alfred and Elizabeth Ann W hite. William was born 19 December 1841 in Adams County, Illinois and d ied 7 August 1916 in Chillicothe, Livingston County, Missouri. Lucy ha d one child, but she died soon after giving birth, on 1 March 1868, of t uberculosis. According to William and Catherine's son, Gay White, Lucy s uggested to William and to her cousin, Catherine Serena Kirkpatrick, sh ortly before her death, that they should marry. Following Lucy's death , William did indeed marry Catherine Serena Kirkpatrick and had a secon d family.

She was married to William Jasper White (son of John Alfred White and Elizabeth Ann ???) on 17 Aug 1865 in Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois.⁽²⁵⁾ William Jasper White⁽²²⁶⁾ was born on 19 Dec 1841 in Adams Co., Illinois.⁽²²⁶⁾ He died on 7 Aug 1916 in Chillicothe, Livingston Co., Missouri. ⁽²²⁶⁾ He was buried in Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Livingston Co., Missouri.⁽²²⁶⁾ Lucy Ellen Kirkpatrick and William Jasper White had the following children:
