12. William Wayne Smith was born on 7 Feb 1851 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. ⁽⁶⁰⁾ He died on 10 Mar 1923 in Waterloo, Black Hawk, Iowa. ⁽⁶¹⁾ He was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.⁽⁶²⁾ He was married to Ida Emma Hosier on 16 Nov 1871 in Lamont, Buchanan, Iowa. ⁽⁶³⁾

13. Ida Emma Hosier was born on 2 Mar 1854 in Delaware County, Iowa. ⁽¹¹⁾ She died on 23 Oct 1940 in Waterloo, Black Hawk, Iowa. ⁽¹¹⁾ She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.⁽⁶⁴⁾ Children were:

i. Mamie Smith died in died as a young child.⁽⁶⁵⁾

vii. Raymond Fenimore Smith was born on 4 Dec 1891. He died after 1943. ⁽⁶⁷⁾ Social Security record for Raymond Smith belonged to another with the same name & birth date.

Raymond's niece, Ila Jeanne Smith Shepherd Bauer, recalled in December 1999 that when her father William Ara was ill in the Veterans Hospital in Chicago with his first heart attack, Raymond took Jeanne and her sister May to a Cubs Baseball game. It was probably in 1935 or 1936.

Jeanne could not recall if he was married, had children or what he did for a living.
